Around the same time the Indian/Nepali Army team were summiting Lhotse this morning, Scott Woolums and the Adventures International crew were summiting Kala Pattar 5545m, a nearby peak.
The clear skies offered spectacular views of Everest, Pumori, Nuptse, and the Khumbu glacier. Scott's expedition is back in base camp and is waiting for favorable weather conditions to make a summit attempt.
Two climbers on the team will be leaving tomorrow for their Lhotse attempt, and the Everest crew will wait until later in the week.
