Everest Friday wrap-up on fatalities and weather

The past 48 hours have brought a whirlwind of contradictory information: People missing, people dying, and people summitting on Mount Everest. Who fixed the ropes, who didn't, and why not? Who tossed oxygen bottles on the North Face - and what's the scoop on the weather - is it good or bad?
This year has turned out to be one of the deadliest on Everest. There are already 4 confirmed deaths, all summiteers on their way down, and three more climbers not accounted for.
This the latest, preliminary update:
Tuesday 18th
Nils Antezana summits Everest South at 10am but goes missing on the Balcony.
2 Koreans reported missing on Everest North
Korean, Paek Jun-Ho goes out looking for teammates
Thursday 20th, Everest North
Japanese climber Shoko Ota dies after summiting, 300-350 m below summit, fell on ropes and went unconscious
Bulgarian Hristo Hristov summits
Park Moo-Taek found dead
Bulgarian climber Hristo Hristov goes missing
Friday 21st, Everest North
Other two Koreans found dead, Chang Min and Paek Jun-Ho
Montagna reports that Giuseppe Pompili and Adriano Dal Cin went up. Pompili came back, but Dal Cin has not been heard from since yesterday when he said he would go for summit.
There seem to have been bands of weather on different levels. Levels around 7000 meters have had fog, snow and wind, levels above have been calm, but with occasional gusts. There was a high cloud cover and currently there is a whiteout reported from the mountain.
Latest weather report:
Models concur that there is plenty of moisture in the Everest area. Therefore, expect heavy snow showers for the next few days. Showers will start to taper off by the start of next week. Dry weather is currently in the forecast for most of next week. The forecast for the winds has not changed much since the last forecast (around 5-12 m/s out of the W/NW).
Park Moo-Taek had 7, 8,000ers; and a very speedy Everest, K2, and Kangch in 1 yr 11 mo and 27 days.
Shoko Ota was 63 and 80 days the second oldest woman to summit Everest after Tamae Watanabe who is 63 years and 176 days
