Snow cools off the Cwm
09:44 a.m. EDT Apr 29, 2003
Adventure Consultants have reached Camp II, 6400m. The forecasts were right and it snowed yesterday afternoon and evening. It started snowing along the route from Camp I, 6100m, to Camp II. This part of the route is known for being a scorcher with all the reflected sunlight, but the snow helped keep them cool.

Tomorrow the AC crew will take a rest day before heading up towards Camp III, 6800m, for some acclimatization.
