The Following 5 members & 3 sherpas of "Tokyo University of Agriculture Alpine Club Everest/Lhotse Expedition" team have been successful to climb the summit of 8848m.high Mt. Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest) on 22nd May. 2003 at 06:50 AM to 08:40 AM.

Name of the Summiteers

(1) Mr. Taro Tanigawa (36 Yrs), Office worker, Hgashiizumi Komae shi, Tokyo, Japan.

(2) Mr. Koji Nagakubo (34 Yrs), Office worker, Nishiwaseda Sinnjuku-ku, Tokyo, Japan.

(3) Mr. Yuichi Yoshida (33 Yrs), Sekimachiminami Nerima-ku, Tokyo, Japan.

(4) Mr. Takeshi Yamamura (20 Yrs) (Youngest Japanese) , Student, Shichirigahama Kamakura-shi, Kanagawa, Japan.

(5) Mr. Kenta Hirose (33 Yrs), Office worker, Noboritoshinmathi Tama-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa, Japan.

(6) Mr. Phura Tshering Sherpa (33 Yrs), Sirdar, Lokhim-9, Solukhumbu,Nepal.

(7) Mr. Lhakpa Dorje Sherpa (37 Yrs), HAS, Sotang-6, Solukhumbu, Nepal.

The 9 member "Tokyo University of Agriculture Alpine Club Everest/Lhotse Expedition" team was permitted to climb 8848 Meter high Mt. Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest) from South East Ridge for the period of Seventy five days from 15 March 2003 under the leadership of Mr. Yasunari Yamashita (64 Yrs), Chief Executive Officer from Miyamae suginami-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
