Ministry confirms Nuptse summits

Ministry Press Release:
Nepal's ministry has confirmed the following two members of the, "American 2003 Nuptse Expedition" team have summited Nuptse, 7855m May 23, 2003 at 1300 hrs Nepal time
Name of the Summiteers:
(1) Guillemo Benegas (35 Yrs), Mountain Guide from California, USA.
(2) Damien Benegas (35 Yrs), Mountain Guide from California, USA.
Guillemo and Damien were just involved in the attempted rescue of Karma Sherpa who died yesterday. The brothers had just completed their alpine-style ascent of Nuptse. Guillemo has summited Everest three times, in 99, 01, and 02.
