Grania Willis summits Everest this morning

Grania Willis summited Everest Sunday morning local time, reports Irish media. Grania was climbing with the Himex team and is an equestrian journalist working for Irish Times. This was Grania’s second 8000er having scaled Cho Oyu last autumn.
In 2004 Clare O’Leary became the first Irish woman to climb Everest, summiting from the south side.
