Fresh video of UK Marines Summit Team II leaving for Everest summit push
11:44 a.m. EDT May 18, 2003
The second summit team left the North Side BC yesterday and made the trek to Intermediate Base Camp. Today they arrived in ABC, 6500m, where there they met up with the first summit team who delayed their climb to Camp I, the North Col, 7000m. The winds are still blowing and they are going to wait 24hrs before moving upwards.

After some tech and hard-drive problems, the UK team has everything in line and are dispatching directly from the North Side base camp. Climbers on the team represent the United Kingdom's Royal Marines and Navy.
