First Black African summits Everest

Sibusiso Vilane has become the first black African to summit Everest. He is member of the Jagged Globe South Side expedition. Six climbers and five sherpas from the JG team summited at 0900 hrs local time this morning. At that time two others were still on their way up. The names of all those who did summit are not available, however, Sibusiso Vilane phoned into BBC radio from the top. 32 year old Sibusiso is a nature guide from Swaziland.
