Everest avalanche update - where are they now? Quick check of expeditions' current positions

ExplorersWeb has checked the Everest south side teams current positions according to their latest reports. Here's a quick update:

Jagged Globe team members were down the valley yesterday. The team’s sherpa staff were setting Camp 4.

Mallorca in BC.

Adventure Consultants team is in C2. All well, according to Luis Benitez.

Alpine Ascents Half of the team in BC; the other half slept in C2 yesterday (back from C3) and planned on reaching BC today.

Valencia team is in BC. Their sherpas were climbing to CII today.

Brazilians were in BC on May 2nd. They planned to rest.

Singapore w/o O2 left BC this morning at 6 am, planning to spend the night at Camp II, and reaching Camp 4.

Singapore NUS Centennial exp were in BC yesterday.

Keith Woodhouse was down the valley this morning.

Climbing for a Cure team expected to rest for some days in BC since May 2nd.

Gavin Bate is in Gorak Shep. Some porters coming down told him of the avalanche. They new nothing on casualties, just tents damaged.

Leipzigers The German team was on its way down to BC from C2 and they found Camp 1 destroyed 30 minutes after the avalanche.

The Iranian team was reported nearby when they heard the avalanche roar, according to the Valencia team.
