Everest - high ambitions

He just scaled two Himalayan peaks, 5.2950m Chitidhar and 5,579m Ladakhi. That's around the average hight of the "Seven summits" (5746 m) excluding Everest (8848). So, who cares? His mother does; Pranjay Jhuria is nine years old.
The kid's next goal is Mount Everest. His father, a mountaineer, doesn't like it. "There is no thrill left in scaling Mount Everest. I would rather want my son to grow up to be a campaigner for conserving the Himalayas.''
But mum understands The Dream: "I definitely look forward for the day when my son reaches Mount Everest. And I want him to become the youngest conqueror of the tallest peak on Earth.''
Pranjay's climbing teacher is thrilled too; "We are training 60 to 70 boys and girls every year to create future Everesters and Pranjay is one of them.''
