No jet in the ME-area. But north of Me in Uzbekistan and China there is a jet from west to east.

Alpine Ascents "This morning a report comes from the Alpine Ascents office. The team called in to the office at about 8:00pm Nepal Time. They were all getting ready to go to bed after a great acclimatization hike up past the ice fall today. They all are feeling great, have returned to Camp I for another night of sleeping up high. They will be returning to ABC tomorrow and will send another cybercast from there. The team wished their best to everyone watching and will be in contact soon.”

Jean Pavillard Happy birthday, Jean! The mountain guide writes from Cho Oyu BC: “Today we hiked to lake camp at 6050 m just below camp1 where I celebrated my birthday. Thanks to Mary, Madeleine, Francesca for their love. I am blessed to be amongst these beautiful mountains from which i draw so much energy.”

Reus 8000team-members are in Chinese Base camp (4975m.). Climbers plan to stay there and acclimatize for a couple of days. Sunday they’ll trek up to the ‘real’ base camp, at 5700m.

Bergans Big Mountain Ski Expedition News expected soon from Cho Oyu BC.
