Today saw activity on the Lhotse wall and climbers in Camp III, 6800m. Adventures International's Everest team spent the day in Camp II, 6400m. The Lhotse team planned on descending to Camp II from a night at Camp III. Tomorrow they will head all the way down to base camp.

The Everest team will judge the weather tomorrow and would like to advance up to Camp III. Today expedition leader Scott Woolums reported high winds near the summit (plumes of white in the photo), however, conditions in Camp II were ok.

The forecasts show very high winds on the entirety of Everest, base camp to summit, from Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Tomrrow winds up to 25 m/s are predicted in Camp II.

Adventure's International expedition is a smaller, up and coming commercial outfit led by Scott Woolums, an Everest summiteer. This is their second trip up to Camp II this season. Lhotse and Everest share the same route for part of the way.
