Chat with Carlos Pauner
09:28 a.m. EDT Jun 19, 2003
The Spanish site, Barrabes, will be hosting a chat (in Spanish) with climber Carlos Pauner at 1730 hrs (Spanish time) tonight. You can ask your questions ahead of time on Barrabes.com. Spain is 6 hrs ahead of New York time, EST.

Carlos has recently returned from Kangchenjunga, where he reached the summit, but couldn’t find the high camp on the descent. The team and the whole world thought he was dead, but two days later, albeit with badly frostbitten hands, Carlos arrived down in base camp after battling the elements and bivouacking out in the open.
