Big names on Everest campus reach the summit

It's official! The IMAX team reached Everest summit this morning.

Ed Viesturs now has 19 8,000+ summits. This is his sixth time to the top of the world. He has climbed 13 different 8,000ers.

This was Dave Breashears fifth summit of Everest, including a summit in the tragic 1996 season.

Veikka Gustafsson, Finish climber, has now ascended Everest three times.

Jimmy Chin, one of National Geagraphic's Emerging Explorers, now has his first Everest summit.

Also on the summit was the 43 year old Apa Sherpa who now has 14 summits of Everest. He was climbing with the Dream Everest expedition.
